Deutsch: Der Dammtorbahnhof wurde 1901 bis 1903 als Fernbahnhof im Rahmen des Baus der Verbindungsbahn zwischen dem Hamburger Hauptbahnhof und dem Bahnhof Altona erbaut. Der Entwurf stammte von Caesar & Schwarz im Auftrag der preußischen Eisenbahnverwaltung.
