This category should contain all Prussian barracks built in Thorn, regardless of whether the buildings still stand or not. In 1913 the garrison in Thorn consisted of the following active units:
- Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 21 (Infanteriekaserne bei Rudak)
- Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 61 (Culmer Tor / Jakobskaserne)
- Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 176 (Wilhelmskaserne)
- Ulanen-Regiment Nr. 4 (Kavallerie-Kaserne II)
- One bataillon (Abteilung) of Fußartillerie-Regiment Nr. 11 (Fußartillerie-Kaserne I)
- One bataillon (Abteilung) of Fußartillerie-Regiment Nr. 15 (Kasernenstraße 9, Anschlusskaserne)
- Pionierbataillon Nr. 17 (Pionier-Kaserne)
In addition, the following staff, command and supply units had their headquarters in Thorn:
- 70. Infanterie-Brigade (Artillerie-Kaserne II in der Baderstr. 11)
- 87. Infanterie-Brigade (Artillerie-Kaserne II in der Baderstr. 11)
- 41. Kavallerie-Brigade (Mellienstr. 60)
