English: The Blacksmith Fountain in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, was constructed in 1884, and was inaugurated on Queen Victoria's birthday in 1885. It was intended to serve as a symbol of local industry. The statue was designated under the Ontario Heritage Act by the City of Guelph in 1988 for its historical and architectural value.
