Electric locomotives classified Bo+Bo under the UIC classification of locomotive axle arrangements. Unlike the more common Bo′Bo′ arrangement, the two bogies are articulated together, rather than carried individually beneath the body: the tractive effort is carried entirely through the bogies from a coupling link between them to drawgear on the bogie.
