Butterfield Overland Mail Company was a stagecoach service in the United States. It carried passengers and U.S. Mail from two eastern termini, Memphis, Tennessee (until 1861) and St. Louis, Missouri to San Francisco, California.

It was acquired by its bankers, Wells Fargo, in November 1866 and consolidated along with Holladay in Wells Fargo Express.
