Note: there were two other lake freighters named Cadillac, both also owned by Cleveland-Cliffs: a 230-foot bulk freighter built in 1892 and a 380-foot freighter built in 1902 (originally called Steel King, later renamed Chacornac). Other boats named Cadillac on the Great Lakes were a tug boat built in 1901 and a ferry built in 1928.
