English: Caledonian MacBrayne ("Cal Mac", "Caledonian Mac a' Bhriuthainn" in Scottish Gaelic)

is a publicly owned ferry company, given that name in 1973 following a merger of two older companies. In January 2011 it was restructured under the parent company David MacBrayne, and Argyll Ferries was formed to operate the Dunoon to Gourock passenger service route: see also Category:Argyll Ferries
