Candeal bread (Pan candeal) is one of the most famous types bread in Spain, one of the icons of the baking tradition of this country, and with a wide variety of regional breads in Castile, Aragon, Andalusia, Extremadura, Euskadi, Murcia, Madrid, Valencia etc. A golden, shiny and crisp crust contrasts with a spongy and moist crumb. This is achieved thanks to its raw material: durum wheat, that requires a vigorous and long kneading. Unique flavor... this bread is art!
