English: This aircraft was assigned multiple designations. Cessna initially designated it the Model 305, while the United States Army assigned the designation L-19 under the pre-1962 system. The United States Marine Corps also used the aircraft and in the Navy's pre-1962 system, the designation OE was assigned. After the adoption of the 1962 Tri-Service system, all remaining aircraft were redesignated O-1.
