English: Cumnor is a village and civil parish in Oxfordshire, England. It is located west of Oxford. The parish of Cumnor includes Cumnor Hill, (a ribbon development between Cumnor village and Botley), Chawley (at the top of Cumnor Hill), the Dean Court area on the edge of Botley and the outlying settlements of Chilswell, Farmoor and Swinford. In 1974 it was transferred from Berkshire. In the 2001 census the parish had a population of 5,503.
