This place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, listed as Historical Complex of Split with the Palace of Diocletian.

English: Built by Roman emperor Diocletian in 293/305 AD, now in Split, Croatia. This category includes also all images taken within the Palace perimeter, as the old town was built within the Palace, the so-called Historical complex by UNESCO.
Italiano: Il Palazzo di Diocleziano, situato a Spalato (Croazia), è un imponente complesso architettonico fatto edificare dall'imperatore Diocleziano, molto probabilmente fra il 293 d.C. ed il 305 d.C., allo scopo di farne la propria dimora.
