English: Elis (Greek: Περιφερειακή ενότητα Ηλείας) is one of the regional units of the Peloponnese in Greece. The capital is the city of Pyrgos. The regional unit of Elis is subdivided into 7 municipalities  : Andravida-Kyllini, Andritsaina-Krestena, Ilida, Olympia, Pineios, Pyrgos and Zacharo.
