Deutsch: Erich Fritz Emil Mielke (* 28. Dezember 1907 in Berlin; † 21. Mai 2000 in Berlin) war nach dem Rücktritt Ernst Wollwebers ab 1957 Minister für Staatssicherheit der DDR und somit einer der Hauptverantwortlichen für den Ausbau des flächendeckenden Überwachungssystems in der DDR. Von 1953 bis 1989 war Mielke zudem Vorsitzender der Sportvereinigung Dynamo. Er wurde 1993 wegen Mordes rechtskräftig zu einer Freiheitsstrafe von sechs Jahren verurteilt.
