English: Fort Wetherill (1899−1948), a former Coast Artillery fort now within Fort Wetherill State Park, located in Jamestown, Newport County, Rhode Island.
The ruins sit atop granite cliffs on southeastern Conanicut Island, overlooking the entrance to Narragansett Bay. Fort Dumpling (est.1770s) first occupied the cliff site, and was later demolished for Fort Wetherill.
