Gareth Owen Edwards (born 12 July 1947 in Pontardawe) is a rugby union player who played for Cardiff RFC and represented both Wales and the British and Irish Lions at international level; he also played for the Barbarians for whom he scored the legendary try against the All Blacks at Cardiff Arms Park in 1973.
