Deutsch: Der Historiker und Geograph Gerhard Friedrich Müller (auch Fjodor Iwanowitsch Müller; 1705-1783) war ein deutscher Sibirienforscher. Er wird „der Vater der sibirischen Geschichtsschreibung“ genannt.

English: Gerhardt Friedrich Müller (1705–1783) was a historian and pioneer ethnologist who was invited to St. Petersburg in 1725 to co-found the Imperial Academy of Sciences. Müller participated in the first Kamchatka expedition, which reported on life and nature of the further (eastern) side of the Ural mountain range.
