English: The Heron Rookery is a heronry (nesting ground) for the Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias) in Pines Township, Porter County, Indiana, USA. It is a nature preserve administered by the National Park Service as part of the nearby Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. The East Arm Little Calumet River runs through the rookery.

Currently (2016-03) all images are from the same photographer. The Category - Images of Chris Light will need to be moved to individual pictures when additional submission are added.
