English: The Isaac Newton Telescope (INT) is an optical/infrared reflecting telescope located at Roque de los Muchachos Observatory, La Palma, in the Canary Islands. Between 1967 and 1979, it was located at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, England, but was moved due to poor weather and the availability of air travel. The new facility was opened in 1984.
