English: Isartor, handsome rectangular Tortum with walled forecourt, octagonal flank towers and three-row front, restored from 1337, 1833-1835 by Friedrich von Gärtner, restored after war damage 1946-1957; Wall fresco by Bernhard Neher d. J.1835; new tower clocks 2005.
