English: Prince Itō Hirobumi (伊藤 博文, October 16, 1841 – October 26, 1909) was a Japanese politician during the Meiji era and a retainer of the Mōri clan. He served as the 1st (December 22, 1885 – April 30, 1888), 5th (August 8, 1892 – August 31, 1896), 7th (January 12, 1898 – June 30, 1898) and 10th (October 19, 1900 – May 10, 1901) Prime Minister of Japan.

Deutsch: Graf Itō Hirobumi (1841–1909) war ein Samurai und japanischer Politiker der Zeit des Bakumatsu und in der Anfangsphase des Japanischen Kaiserreiches. Itō wurde im Jahr 1885 der erste Premierminister von Japan und bekleidete dieses Amt bis 1901 insgesamt viermal.
