  • James Anderson (1813-1877) was a British photographer working mainly in Roma, Italy. His son Domenico Anderson (1854-1938) was a photographer too, and he took over the business after his father's deaths. Domenico's sons Alessandro and Giorgio continued his work until 1963, when the whole Anderson archive was bought by the Fratelli Alinari firm, in Florence, which is still extant.
