Jammu and Kashmir (Hindi: जम्मू और कश्मीर; Urdu: مقبوضہ کشمیر) was the northernmost semi-autonomous state administered by India. It was split into two union territories on October 2019 after the abrogation of the Article 370 of the Constitution of India on August 2019. The new territories are called Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
