English: Jayavarman VII (1125?-1215?) was a king of the Khmer Empire in present day Cambodia. He was the son of King Dharanindravarman II (r. 1150 - 1160) and his wife Sri Jayarajacudamani. He married Jayarajadevi and after her death her sister Indradevi, he had many children. Under his rule many temples were built in Angkor and the empire was at its peak, he is thus considered to be one of the greatest Cambodian monarchs.
