Karnaprayag is a town in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is one of the Panch Prayag pilgrimage sites marking the sangam (confluence) of rivers Alaknanda and Pinder. It is also spelled as Karnprayag. The earliest mentions of Karnaprayag as a Hindu tirtha is found in the Mahabharata and other Sanskrit texts such as the Meghdoot by Kalidas.
