Deutsch: Die Novemberpogrome 1938 – bezogen auf die Nacht vom 9. auf den 10. November 1938 während der Diktatur des Nationalsozialismus auch (Reichs-) Kristallnacht oder Reichspogromnacht genannt – waren eine vom nationalsozialistischen Regime organisierte und gelenkte Zerstörung von Einrichtungen jüdischer Bürger im gesamten Deutschen Reich.
English: Kristallnacht; literally "Crystal night" or the "Night of Broken Glass", also "November Pogrom", was a pogrom in Nazi Germany on November 9–10, 1938. In one single night 92 Jews were murdered and 25,000–30,000 were arrested and deported to concentration camps. The Nazis coordinated the attack on Jewish people and their property in Germany and German-controlled lands as part of Führer Adolf Hitler's anti-Semitic policy. The orders were given by Hitler and Joseph Goebbels.
