English: Saint Leonard of Port Maurice, O.F.M., (Italian: San Leonardo da Porto Maurizio) (born 20 December 1676, at Porto Maurizio on the Riviera di Ponente; died at the friary of St. Bonaventure, Rome, 26 November 1751) was an Italian Franciscan preacher and ascetic writer.
Italiano: Leonardo da Porto Maurizio, al secolo Paolo Girolamo Casanova (Porto Maurizio, 20 dicembre 1676 – Roma, 26 novembre 1751), fu un religioso italiano appartenuto all'Ordine dei Frati Minori, ideatore e propagatore della pratica della Via Crucis; è stato proclamato santo da papa Pio IX nel 1867.
