English: Loch Ryan was a iron barque and built by J & G Thomson, Glasgow, Yard No 150 for the General Shipping Co. Glasgow (Loch Line). 1909/10 sold to Government of Victoria, Melbourne for use as a training ship and was wrecked 1918 on Malden Island in the Pacific Ocean returning from her first voyage to San Francisco.
