English: The Lockheed T2V SeaStar was designated T2V with the U.S. Navy (and with it U.S. Marine Corps) until 18 September 1962 when, with the introduction of the Tri-Service aircraft designation system, all SeaStars still in service were redesignated T-1.
The designation was also used for the Raytheon T-1 Jayhawk in the 1990s.
