English: The Los Angeles Railway, or Yellow Car system — a public streetcar transit system that was in operation from 1901 to 1963, in Los Angeles, California.
  • At its height, the system contained over 20 lines and 1,250 streetcars, most running through the core of Los Angeles and adjacent neighborhoods.
  • Created in 1901 by Henry E. Huntington (1850-1927), it shared some tracks with his interurban Pacific Electric Railway Red Car system.
