Lothian is a traditional region of the Scottish Lowlands lying to the south of the Firth of Forth. It includes what are now the city of Edinburgh and council areas of West Lothian, Midlothian and East Lothian. Although the name is used informally for organisations, Commons categorises images by the current Council areas.
