Français : Mahdia (المهدية, Gouvernorat de Mahdia) est une ville côtière tunisienne, à environ 200 kilomètres au sud de la capitale Tunis. C'est l'une des 350 municipalités de Tunisie, la ville compte 51833 habitants (2014). Sa situation géographique stratégique et ses fortifications permettent à la ville, connue successivement sous les noms de Jemma, Aphrodisium et Cap Africa, de jouer un rôle de premier plan dans le bassin méditerranéen jusqu'au 16e siècle.
