English: The NYPD 33rd Precinct is located at 2179 Amsterdam Avenue at the intersection of Jumel Place and Edgecombe Avenue in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It was built in 1997-2002 and was designed by Dattner Architects. The curved facade was intended to echo Castle Clinton in Battery Park. (Source: AIA Guide to NYC (5th ed.))
