The National Museum of Singapore at 93 Stamford Road, Singapore 178897, was constructed in 1886–1887. It was designed by Lt.-Col. H.E. McCallum, the Colonial Engineer and Surveyor General, in a neo-classical style. The building was gazetted as a national monument on .
