There were two quite different Austrian ships called His Majesty's frigate Novara, furthermore the 20th century light cruiser SMS Novara and that class:

  • One launched in 1850, refit in 1856, which made the circumnavigation.
  • A so-called 'refit' which in fact was a new construcion for a propeller-driven frigate, launched in 1862 and wrecked in 1898.
  • SMS Novara (1913)
