English: La Iglesia de Nuestra Señora Reina de los Angeles (Our Lady Queen of the Angels Church), a chapel church known as Plaza Church or La Placita, the original church of the city of Los Angeles, California. The current church was built in 1861, rebuilt from the materials of the former church dedicated in 1822. The parish was established in 1814. Before that, the sub-mission known as Nuestra Señora Reina de los Angeles Asistencia had been here since 1784, but had been abandoned by the 1820s.
