English: Hero City Obelisk (Leningrad). The authors of the monument — architects V. S. Lukyanov and A. I. Alymov. Obelisk is located in Vosstaniya Square in St. Petersburg — Leningrad. The Grand opening of the monument took place on may 8, 1985, on the fortieth anniversary of the Victory in The Great Patriotic War. The monument is 36 meters high.
Русский: Обелиск «Городу-герою Ленинграду» (архитекторы В. С. Лукьянов и А. И. Алымов). Обелиск расположен на площади Восстания в Санкт-Петербурге. Торжественное открытие монумента состоялось 8 мая 1985 года к сороковой годовщине Победы в Великой Отечественной войне. Высота монумента — 36 метров.
