Deutsch: Paul Ludwig Hans Anton von Beneckendorff und von Hindenburg (* 2. Oktober 1847 in Posen; † 2. August 1934 auf Gut Neudeck, Westpreußen) war ein deutscher Militär und Politiker. Im Ersten Weltkrieg stieg er zum Generalfeldmarschall auf und übte als Chef der Obersten Heeresleitung quasi-diktatorisch die Regierungsgewalt aus. Als zweiter Reichspräsident der Weimarer Republik ernannte er 1933 Adolf Hitler zum Reichskanzler.
