English: Penrhyn Castle 1349 tons, built 1890 by C. Hill at Bristol for Robert Thomas & Co. of Criccieth, North Wales[1] Her dimensions were: length × beam = 238 × 36 ft (72.5 × 10.9 m). She was sunk on 22 September 1915 by torpedo, two days out from Bahia Blanca, whilst on passage to Fremantle, Australia, with a cargo of wheat.[2]
