English: XMD 47A (ex-KCH 106) is a 1957 Leyland PD2/12 fitted originally with a 57-seat bus Metro-Cammell bodywork. Delivered new to Trent Motor Traction of Derby as their bus 1006, after ten years it passed to Whippet Coaches of Hilton for school bus work, before again passing to Grey-Green Coaches, who converted it to an open top bus. In 1991 it passed to the The Big Bus Company of London, who re-registered it XMD 47A and numbered it STD177. Along with PFN 853, it was eventually classified as a heritage vehicle, being downgraded to just occasional use on the company's tours. Latterly it has been on long term loan to the Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre in West Sussex, where it runs the museum bus service most days.
