Not to be confused with Single-board computers.

A separated printed circuit board, containing a processor(s). Generally it can be more than 1 of them and they are all connected to some sort of backplane.

Regular modern motherboards are different: they are a backplane with extension slots themselves, and, usually, there can't be more than one. They should be placed in Computer motherboards.
