English: Qasr Ibrim (Arabic: قصر ابريم‎) - an archaeological site in Lower Nubia, of present day southern Egypt.
  • It was originally a major city perched on a cliff above the Nile, but the flooding of Lake Nasser in the 1960s transformed it into an island and flooded its outskirts.
