English: The Rōmom — one of two types of two-storied Japanese temple gates presently used in Japan — the other type being the Nijūmon.
  • While Buddhist in origin, it is used at both Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines.
  • In spite of its appearance, which suggests otherwise, its upper story does not offer any usable space. In the past, the name also used to be sometimes applied to double-roof gates.
日本語: 楼門(ろうもん)
