English: The Saab 37 Viggen or 37 Viggen ("Thunderbolt", also ‌"Tufted duck") was a Swedish single-seat, single-engine, short-medium range fighter and attack aircraft, manufactured between 1970 and 1990. Several variants were produced to perform the roles of all-weather fighter-interceptor, ground-attack and photo-reconnaissance, as well as a two-seat trainer. During the years 1970 and 1990, Saab delivered 329 aircraft to the Swedish Air force. 106 aircraft of the AJ 37, 28 aircraft of the SH 37, 28 aircraft of the SF 37, 18 aircraft of the SK 37 and 149 aircraft of the fighter version JA 37.

Totalt mellan 1970 och 1990 levererades 329 Viggenplan till Svenska flygvapnet – 106 attackversioner (AJ 37), 28 radarspaningsversioner (SH 37), 18 skolversioner (SK 37), 28 fotospaningsversioner (SF 37) och 149 jaktversionen (JA 37).
