English: Salar de Uyuni, or Salar de Tunupa — the world's largest salt flat, at 10,582 square kilometres (2,615,000 acres), in the Ballivián Basin of southwestern Bolivia.
• It is located at an elevation of 3,650 metres (11,980 ft) on the Altiplano de Bolivia, in Potosí Department and Oruro Department.
