English: Nº. 5644 The Elephant is a steam tractor, now preserved in the Netherlands. It was originally built in 1924 as a large-wheeled solid rubber-tyred Sentinel Steam Tractor. The original customer was Teignmouth Quay Co., who used it for shunting railway wagons on the harbour. It worked until the 1960s, after which it was preserved.[1][2]
