English: Shadow roll or nose roll is a fluffy roll or long brush which is attached to the noseband on a horse's bridle. It is used to restrict the view of the horse much like Winkers. Shadow rolls are mainly used in horse racing and harness racing, but sometimes seen in disciplines such as show jumping and eventing. See also Category:Blinders.
