English: Simson was a German manufacturer in Suhl, Thuringia that made guns from 1856, cars from 1914, motorcycles from the 1930s and mopeds from the 1950s. Suhl was in East Germany from 1945 until 1990, and Simson ceased production at the end of 2002.
