English: A site plan is an architectural plan and landscape architecture-design document, in a plan-view drawing showing proposed improvements for a project site.
  • The scale can range from gardens, through structures, to planned developments. The presentation can range from an artistic concept layout presentations, through site orientation maps, to detailed accurate plans for review and construction.
  • A site plan usually shows: any proposed building footprints; existing retained site elements; the landscape design with pedestrian and vehicle circulation, gardens and garden element footprints, parking and lighting, and surface site drainage accommodation; utility routes for power, telecommunications, potable water, storm and sanitary sewer lines; and any constraints such as setbacks.
  • In a set of project drawings it is often the first sheet.
