Sail plan of a sloop.
English: A sloop is a sailing craft with one mast with a mainsail and working (jib) sail. Sloops are the most common recreational sailing vessels today.

If the vessel does not have a jib, it is a catboat. If the vessel has multiple jibs, it is a cutter.
