English: The Soča is an Alpine river that rises in northwestern Slovenia, the Trenta Valley in the Julian Alps. It flows 138 kilometres (86 mi) through western Slovenia and northeastern Italy to empty into the Adriatic Sea close to the Italian town of Monfalcone.
